Location: Ammanford
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexibility Available)
Salary: £83.85 daily rate

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Inspire and Empower: Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with ASD, making learning fun and engaging!
  • Support Personal Care with Heart: Help students with personal care tasks like dressing, toileting, and feeding—while ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times (not all roles require personal care).
  • Create an Inclusive, Supportive Environment: Foster a positive, safe space where every child feels confident to learn and grow.
  • Collaborate and Make an Impact: Work closely with teachers to implement tailored support plans that help each student thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Celebrate Progress: Track student progress, celebrate their achievements, and provide encouragement every step of the way!

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Passion for Helping Others: If you love working with children and making a difference, this is the role for you!
  • Experience with ASD: Previous experience with children with ASD is fantastic, We’ll provide training for ongoing development.
  • Experience with Challenging Behaviour: Previous experience with challenging behaviour, being able to de-escalate situations and have a calming impact.
  • Empathy & Patience: You’ll have the ability to show empathy, patience, and respect, especially when assisting with personal care tasks.
  • Team Player: Working together with teachers and other staff is key to ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Positive Attitude: You bring a “can-do” approach and a willingness to go above and beyond for our students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
