Our client, a reputable academy based in Littleport, Cambridge, is seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the smooth running of the school’s daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the school office and senior leadership team.

  • Manage and maintain records, databases, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Handle incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring excellent customer service.

  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and supporting school events.

  • Process and manage school correspondence, including letters and notices.

  • Support the finance and HR teams with administrative tasks as required.

  • Ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational setting.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
