Deputy Head of Science - Secondary School
Location: Battersea, Greater London, England
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £185 - £250 per day
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Science to plan, implement, and assess the Science curriculum
- Manage and oversee the Science department
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Science teachers
- Create and develop teaching resources and materials for Science
- Act as Acting Head of Science when required
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
- Prior experience in a leadership or management role within a secondary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of the UK secondary school Science curriculum
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- Postgraduate qualification in Education or a related field
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment practises
Working Conditions:
- Work in a secondary school environment
- Full-time position with regular school hours
- Collaboration with colleagues and students
Must be living in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
