Job Advertisement: Teacher of Science

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London)

A thriving, Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school in Richmond is seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Science to join their committed and high-achieving staff team. The Role:

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5.
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum.
  • Support and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
  • Participate actively in the wider school community, including extra-curricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have a relevant degree in Science or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Be committed to maintaining and promoting the school’s inclusive ethos and values.
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be a reflective practitioner, eager to contribute to continuous improvement within the department.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
