 Exclusive Opportunity: Year 4 1:1 Teaching Assistant Role – Supporting 1:1 SEN

 

Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in a child's educational journey? Teaching Personnel has an exciting exclusive vacancy for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with Special Educational Needs at a Catholic Primary School in Crosby.

 

Position Details:

  • Role Type: Full-time, long-term
  • Location: Crosby, Merseyside

 

About the Role:

 

This rewarding position involves providing tailored support to a Year 4 pupil with SEN, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You'll collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure the pupil's unique needs are met.

What We're Looking For:

 

  • Experience supporting children with SEN (preferably in a primary school setting).

  • A commitment to the values of a Catholic school (although being Catholic is not essential).

 

Requirements:

 

  • A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Relevant experience working with children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
