Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 tuition sessions to secondary school students.

• Develop personalised lesson plans to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.

• Provide focused support in specific subjects.

• Help students prepare for exams and assessments, offering targeted revision strategies.

• Track student progress and provide regular updates.

• Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment to build students' confidence and motivation.

• Adapt teaching methods and materials to ensure maximum engagement and progress.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A degree or relevant qualification in a subject area.

• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and structure lessons effectively.

• Passionate about helping students succeed and reach their potential.

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
