Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Part-Time Temporary Youth Worker to join our team in Leyland. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young people’s lives while gaining valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and guidance to young people, helping them to achieve personal and social development goals
- Lead and participate in engaging activities, workshops, and group sessions
- Build positive relationships with young people and offer a safe, welcoming environment
- Assist in managing behaviour and provide support in resolving conflicts
- Work alongside other professionals to develop tailored programs for young people
- Support with planning and organising youth-focused events and activities
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people in a youth work, education, or similar setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate young people from diverse backgrounds
- Creative, proactive, and passionate about supporting youth development
- DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
