***Youth Support Workers***

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Youth Support Workers to work within our SEN schools In the following areas come for a September long-term role:
- Brighton & Hove
- Worthing
- Lancing
- Littlehampton
- Haywards Heath
SEN provisions help children and young people who have struggled with school to overcome their barriers to learning. We are looking for professional, resilient, and patient Support Workers to assist in making a significant difference to these children's lives and futures.
Qualities we are looking for:
- Experience working with children and/or young people who display challenging behaviour
- The ability to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and successfully
- An empathetic approach with the ability to sympathise and understand pupils needs
We will also consider applicants who have experience in the following roles:
- Social Worker
- Youth Counsellor
- Child Psychologist
- Sports Coach
- Care Worker
- Foster Worker
- Mental Health Nurse
Additional information:
- DBS – Must own or apply for a Child Only Enhanced DBS
- Pay - £83.85 (Minium pay)
- Contract – Temp to Perm
- Hours – 8:30am – 15:30pm
- Location – Must be able to drive
- Experience – Youth Worker Experience or SEN Experience
- SEN – ASC, ADHD, PMLD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
