Year 6 Teacher (Full-Time) – Start After Easter

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Covering an Experienced Member of Staff)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Year 6 Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Southampton, starting after Easter. This full-time position will involve covering an experienced member of staff, and as such, there are excellent resources and teaching materials available to support the successful candidate.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 6 students, helping them prepare for their transition to Key Stage 3. Full planning and preparation will be required, although the teacher will benefit from shared PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time with colleagues.

Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate must have UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

Experience within Key Stage 2 is essential, with applications welcome from teachers at all levels of experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
