Teaching Personnel is currently seeking 3 passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our partner school in Exeter. The school provides education to young people aged 4-16 who are not currently accessing mainstream or special school provision. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to students who need extra support, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. If you are committed to helping young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) succeed in a supportive and inclusive learning environment, this role is for you!

Essential Requirements:

  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to travel needs).
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • A genuine passion for helping students with SEN reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, helping them with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to implement and monitor individualised learning plans.
  • Support students with behaviour management, confidence building, and relationship development.
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning and personal growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
