Teaching Personnel are seeking confident, knowledgeable and enthusiastic people for the role of ‘Cover Supervisor’.

Comprehensive Cover Supervisor and behaviour management training is provided by a fully qualified teacher from Teaching Personnel.

Location: Porthcawl, Bridgend

Pay: £100-120 per day

Contract: Part-time, Flexible

What Does a Cover Supervisor Do?

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
✔️ Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials in the absence of a teacher.
✔️ Supervise and engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
✔️ Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
✔️ Support students with their learning and answer general questions.
✔️ Work across a variety of subjects – every day is different!

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from:
✅ Teaching Assistants (TAs) & Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) looking for classroom leadership experience.
✅ Graduates considering a career in teaching – perfect for gaining experience before applying for teacher training.
✅ Unqualified teachers or instructors with experience working with young people.
✅ Anyone with a passion for education and strong communication skills!

✅ Sports coaches with experience with all ages and all sporting activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
