Unqualified Teacher (Cover Supervisor)

Location: Chepstow
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £100 - £120 per day

We are actively recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Unqualified Teacher / Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Chepstow. This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals seeking classroom experience or exploring a future in teaching.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise classes during teacher absences

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across various subjects

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies

  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment

  • Provide academic support and encouragement to students

  • Communicate professionally with students, staff, and parents/guardians when required

What We’re Looking For:

  • A genuine interest in education and working with young people

  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills

  • Reliable, adaptable, and confident in leading a class

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

  • 2 recent and relevant references

  • Eligibility to work in the UK

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or willingness to register

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
