Salary: £100-£125 per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week (or ad-hoc flexible)

Are you a looking to gain experience in education? Do you want the chance to work across a range of different year groups within Secondary Education?
Teaching Personnel is working with secondary schools located across Bedfordshire and specifically supported by a sector-specialist consultant for the last 5 years, offering opportunities to Cover Supervisors. We are looking for Graduates with subject-specific knowledge ideally local to Bedford to support secondary schools in the area.
You are not required to have a teaching qualification to be successful, just up to date and relevant experience working with young people. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who is potentially looking to start a career in education.
This position will allow you to gain experience managing a variety of lessons and building rapport with students. This is a chance to develop teaching and strong classroom management skills in an environment where planning will always be in place.
Responsibilities:
- Working across a range of different year groups and departments
- Managing the behaviour of students
- Supervising pre-planned, pre-set work from teachers
Requirements of the Candidate:
- Recent and relevant experience working with young people, this can be in an educational, coaching or care setting
- Degree educated
- Be passionate and committed to working with children in education
- Have strong behaviour management skills
- Be an effective communicator and have strong interpersonal skills
- Be punctual, flexible and reliable
This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to develop their experience of working within a school environment or may wish to complete teacher training in the future.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
