Job description

Position: Teaching Assistant (Unqualified but Experienced in Childcare)

Location: Sunderland 
Salary: Dependant on experience 
Hours: Full-time/Part-time available
Start Date: January 2025

About the Role:

We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants. In this role, you’ll support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, help create a positive learning environment, and provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students.

Your experience in childcare will be invaluable in helping to nurture young minds and ensure students feel supported and cared for throughout the school day.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children in a childcare, nursery, or similar setting.
  • A warm, patient, and encouraging personality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
