Job description
The role involves working closely with a child with mild autism and communication needs, ensuring they are supported in the classroom and throughout the school environment. This is a full-time position, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for candidates who meet performance expectations.
This opportunity is ideal for Level 2/3 Teaching Assistants, graduates, or individuals with prior experience working with children or young people. Those with a background in youth work or similar roles are also encouraged to apply.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children or young people, ideally with SEN.
- Be passionate about working with children and supporting their development.
- Be patient, empathetic, and engaging in their approach to learning support.
- Be enthusiastic about education and dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Be supportive and proactive in the classroom and throughout the school day.
- Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce only).
