About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting children every day? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join our team in multiple Primary Schools in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who require additional support in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored support to students with various special educational needs.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons and activities.
  • Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Support the development of students' social skills and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom activities and resources.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • No formal qualifications required; however, experience in a similar role or working with children is preferred.
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A genuine interest in supporting children’s educational development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
