Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Primary School in Newport. This role is ideal for those with previous experience working with children, whether in schools, sports coaching, babysitting, playschemes, or other child-focused roles. What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting Classroom Learning: Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, providing 1:1 and group support to pupils.
- Building Strong Relationships: Foster positive relationships with teachers, pupils, and parents to support the child’s development and learning.
- Ensuring Student Well-Being: Safeguard the health and safety of the students in your care, while providing a nurturing learning environment.
- Making a Difference: Your input will help enhance children’s access to education both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help students with learning activities, ensuring all pupils can access the curriculum.
- Collaborate closely with the teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Supervise and support group work, activities, and playtimes.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with students and their families.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
