Are you a primary teacher seeking a rewarding, flexible role?

Teaching Personnel are working with the Local Education Authority to provide home tutors for pupils who are currently out of school due to Special Educational Needs, Exclusions (permanent and temporary) and Looked After Children.

We are looking for primary teachers who are able to deliver home tuition sessions. This would usually be to cover core subjects (English and Maths) but may also include other curriculum subjects. Session times vary depending on the pupil, but are usually for 2 or 3 x 2 hour sessions per week. 

Essential Skills:

– Understanding and appreciation of working with vulnerable young people and those with additional needs

– QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

- Excellent time-keeping and organisational skills

- Flexibility to work part-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
