Supply Cover Supervisors – Multi-Academic Trust of Secondary Schools in Southampton

Location: Across all sites in Southampton
Contract Type: Ad-hoc / Day-to-Day Supply

About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and proactive Supply Cover Supervisors to join a Multi-Academic Trust of secondary schools in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, day-to-day work where you can have a direct impact on student learning and classroom management while enjoying a rewarding role with competitive pay.

As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during a teacher’s absence, ensuring that students remain engaged and productive. You’ll play a key role in maintaining discipline, following lesson plans, and supporting students with their learning. You'll also have the benefit of becoming familiar with the Trust’s systems, policies, and resources across all school sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising students during lessons, ensuring they follow pre-prepared work.
  • Maintaining effective classroom management and ensuring students behave in line with Trust policies.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students, following safeguarding guidelines at all times.
  • Supporting students in their learning by providing assistance where needed.
  • Building rapport with students and staff across all sites, ensuring continuity in their learning experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
