Teaching Assistant – Welsh Medium Primary School
Vale of Glamorgan | £83.85 per day | Start Date: April 2025

Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a Welsh-medium primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. This school fosters an inclusive and nurturing environment, where both staff and pupils are encouraged to reach their full potential.
The Role:
Supporting pupils in a 1:1 capacity to ensure their individual learning needs are met.
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement among pupils.
Using your Welsh language skills to support children in their learning.
Adapting to different situations with empathy, patience, and creativity.

✔️ Experience working with children, particularly those with ALN/SEN.

✔️ The ability to motivate and inspire pupils while working collaboratively with teachers.
✔️ A resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach to learning support.

Essential Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with the application).
EWC registration (Education Workforce Council).
Two professional references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
