Pay Rate: Starting at £84+ per day, paid weekly through PAYE

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary SEN school in Bolton.

The school caters to students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one or small-group support tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist with academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Support students during lessons and other school activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (desirable but not essential).
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to undertake CPD and grow in the role.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
