Position: Experienced Teaching Assistant
Location: Liverpool and Wirral
Agency: Teaching Personnel
Salary: £83 - £100, based on experience
Contract Type: Flexible (Full-Time, Part-Time, and Long-Term roles available)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted support to students in-class or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans and support differentiated learning.
  • Build positive relationships to help students overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
  • Assist with behaviour management and create a supportive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to monitoring student progress and communicating with staff and parents when necessary.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS check and on the update service (Teaching Personnel can assist

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in secondary schools.
  • An understanding of the secondary school curriculum and educational challenges.
  • A caring and professional approach to working with young people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet different school environments' needs.

Qualifications:
While formal qualifications are not mandatory, any relevant training (e.g., a Level 2/3 TA certificate or equivalent, SEN training) will be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
