We are recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join primary and secondary schools in the Wigan area. These positions focus on working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing one-on-one support, and assisting with interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1-1 support to SEN students, helping them achieve their educational goals.
- Assist in delivering tailored interventions to address individual student needs.
- Support classroom teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Help monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a passion for working with young people and supporting their development.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting SEN students.
- Be adaptable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
