Are you a recent graduate looking to make a difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a full-time Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in the Wigan area. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication and behaviour management skills who are passionate about helping students succeed.
Role Overview: As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students to provide guidance, support, and motivation. Your primary focus will be on helping students manage their behaviour and develop positive attitudes towards learning. This role is an excellent stepping stone for graduates considering a career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students, helping them develop positive behaviour and social skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
- Build strong relationships with students to help them achieve their educational goals.
Requirements:
- A recent graduate with a passion for working with young people.
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
- Ability to provide at least two graded references.
- An enhanced child DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Opportunities available to complete a discounted Level 2 Teaching Assistant course.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
