Position Overview: As an EYFS Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment for young learners. Your responsibilities will include assisting the classroom teacher in implementing engaging lesson plans, supporting children's learning and development, and contributing to the overall growth of the classroom community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Help in creating and maintaining an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in school activities and events that contribute to the holistic development of students.
Requirements:
- Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum (training provided if needed).
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to work towards relevant qualifications is a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
