Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join schools across Sheffield. These positions offer a chance to make a real impact on students' education, supporting both teachers and pupils in a dynamic and rewarding setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with teachers to assist in lesson delivery, ensuring an engaging learning experience.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support, especially for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Help plan and adapt resources to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Track and record pupil progress, offering feedback to teaching staff.
  • Assist with classroom management to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best support for students.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in a primary or secondary school environment.
  • Solid understanding of SEN and intervention strategies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
