Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:

  • Supporting teachers in the delivery of educational programmes
  • Assisting with classroom management and student supervision
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties
  • Preparing materials and resources for lessons
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Enhanced DBS check

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school setting preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Understanding of child development and learning processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • First Aid certification
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom environment, following the school calendar and schedule. The Teaching Assistant may need to assist with extracurricular activities and field trips.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
