Teaching Assistant – Academy in Oxford

About the Role:
Our client, a vibrant and inclusive academy based in Oxford, is looking to appoint a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students across various key stages. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to helping pupils achieve their full potential in a supportive learning environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide in-class assistance, targeted interventions, and tailored support for individual pupils, including those with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students with their learning in and out of the classroom
-
Assisting teachers in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
-
Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
-
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive attitudes to learning
-
Supporting pupils with special educational needs or those requiring additional assistance
-
Contributing to the overall well-being and safeguarding of all pupils
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (preferred but not essential)
-
A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills
-
The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
-
A flexible and proactive attitude
-
Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
