Teaching Assistant – Additional Learning Needs
Location: Newport (NP19)
Pay: £83.85 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 – 15:30 – term time only)
Closing Date: Tuesday 30th April 2024
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with pupils that have additional learning needs based within a mainstream primary school in Newport.
For this position we are looking for someone with experience of working with primary age pupils who has a proven track record of developing positive relationships and has knowledge and experience of supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
We are looking for an educator who is highly motivated, flexible and can support children with ASD. The headteacher is very fond of recruiting someone who is also willing to expand their own knowledge and skills with the support of training from the school. For this position, you must be calm, approachable and understand the importance of developing high quality relationships. The headteacher is looking for an educator who is passionate about wanting to make a difference every day and placing a positive impact on the child’s education.
Essential Requirements
Enhanced Child Only DBS Certificate that is registered on the Update Service
Registration with the Education Workforce Council
2 Professional Based References (These will need to align with our reference policy)
Completion of our FREE Level 2 Safeguarding Course
