Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Lytham St Annes (FY8)
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 9-1 (Monday – Friday)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join one of our client schools in Lytham St Annes. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them to overcome challenges and thrive in their learning journey. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Adapt and modify learning materials to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the individual needs of students are met.
- Monitor and track the progress of students and provide feedback to the teaching team.
- Support students in building their self-esteem and confidence.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of all students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
