Teaching Assistant Needed in Lymington – To start ASAP!
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a difference in the classroom? We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lymington, starting immediately.
Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary School, Lymington, Hampshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
- Work with small groups of students to provide targeted support.
- Assist with the development of students’ social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Help with classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN), if required.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
- A passion for education and supporting young learners.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
- An understanding of SEN or a willingness to learn (if applicable).
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or similar) are preferred but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
