Teaching Assistant

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Harrogate, HG1

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£77 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

• Provide support to teachers in the classroom
• Assist with the implementation of lesson plans
• Work with individual pupils or small groups on educational activities
• Help to maintain a positive learning environment
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
• Relevant experience working in an educational setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of educational principles and practises
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities
• Strong communication and organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance or related field
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The Teaching Assistant may need to assist with activities both indoors and outdoors, and work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
