We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic school in Gosport. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons, assisting with the development of children's learning, and ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Year 3 teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
• Work with small groups or individual students to help them with tasks and activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Assist with classroom management and maintain a safe, organized learning space.
• Support children with special educational needs, where required.
• Help assess and track the progress of students.
• Liaise with parents and staff to support student development.

What We Are Looking For:

• A passion for working with children and a desire to make a positive impact.
• Previous experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential).
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred, but not essential.
