Teaching Personnel are seaching for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is available for work across Dorchester at various primary schools. This is to support local primary schools with short-term and long-term sickness and contract cover.
ROLE: Teaching Assistant
START: Immediate/September
LOCATION: Dorchester
PAY RATE: £84 - £98 DOE
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Working with a variety of Prmary schools in and around Dorchester.
- Looking after the class, and you will be supporting the classroom teacher with additional duties.
- Working 1:1 or in small group, assiststing the class teacher with behaviour management.
- Leading small work sessions and ensuring all students are participating and engaging.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working with Key stage 1 & 2.
- Enhanced DBS certificate, that is registered with the update service. TP can assist with this where needed.
- Abiliity to engage and support pupils who may need the extra help.
- Knowledge and understanding of local area
- Flexibility and adaptability to different schools & policies.
- Level 2 Safeguarding Certificate (TP can provide FREE Course)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
