Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location:
North West England, Lancashire, Chorley
Job Type:
Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Salary:
£89.38 - £100 Per day
Job Duties:
- Supporting classroom teachers in preparing materials and implementing lesson plans
- Assisting students with their learning and providing additional support as needed
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supervising students during activities and break times
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and classroom organisation
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs in English and Maths
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working in a classroom setting preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and understanding when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid Certification
- Experience working with special educational needs students
Working Conditions:
- Working hours may vary but generally follow school hours
- May require standing for extended periods and some lifting of classroom materials
- Work is primarily indoors within a classroom environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
