Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both students and teachers in creating a positive and effective learning environment. You will work closely with students, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and develop important social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in class and during intervention sessions.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons and learning activities.
• Help with classroom management to ensure a productive learning environment.
• Support students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Encourage and motivate students, building their confidence and independence.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for working with young people.
• Is patient, empathetic, and able to adapt to the needs of individual students.
• Has strong communication skills and is able to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
• Is proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential.
