Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both students and teachers in creating a positive and effective learning environment. You will work closely with students, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and develop important social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in class and during intervention sessions.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of lessons and learning activities.
- Help with classroom management to ensure a productive learning environment.
- Support students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Encourage and motivate students, building their confidence and independence.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with young people.
- Is patient, empathetic, and able to adapt to the needs of individual students.
- Has strong communication skills and is able to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
- Is proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
