Bournemouth's secondary schools are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our SENCO department. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every student receives the support they need to excel academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with SENCO professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
