We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at a specialist SEN school as an Entry-Level Autism Teaching Assistant. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in special education, especially those committed to making a difference for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Your Role as an Autism Teaching Assistant: In this role, you’ll work closely with children and young people with autism and other complex learning needs, helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Students: Provide one-to-one and small group support, encouraging students to participate confidently in classroom activities.
- Implementing IEPs: Follow and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies, working to meet each student’s specific needs.
- Utilising Specialist Resources: Work with our school’s specialist resources and facilities, adapting learning materials and strategies to maximise accessibility and engagement for each child.
- Building Positive Relationships: Establish a warm, trusting connection with students, fostering an environment where they feel valued, safe, and encouraged to explore and grow.
- Collaborating with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work alongside teachers, therapists, and other SEN professionals to monitor student progress, share insights, and refine support approaches.
- Ensuring a Safe Environment: Contribute to a secure, inclusive learning space, ensuring every student feels comfortable and supported.

Requirements:
