About the Role:

• Position: Teaching Assistant (2:1 Support)
• Location: Blyth
• Employment Type: Full-time

• Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 2:1 support to students, ensuring they are engaged and progressing in their learning.
• Assist in delivering lesson plans, adapting materials to meet individual learning needs.
• Support students with additional needs, promoting confidence and independence.
• Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
• A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Experience supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs (preferred).
• A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting student development.
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
