Teaching Assistant Opportunity – Year 2 ASC Support (Kirkham)
Position: Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Location: Kirkham
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30
Start Date: After Easter

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a Year 2 classroom. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing tailored support to enhance the child’s learning experience.
The Role:
- Providing 1:1 support to a Year 2 child with ASC
- Assisting with classroom activities and social development
- Implementing strategies to support the child's engagement and progress
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create an inclusive environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with ASC or additional needs (preferred but not essential)
- Patient, understanding, and committed to supporting children's learning
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a nurturing and supportive school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
