Teaching Assistant (challenging behaviour)
Start date: ASAP
Hours: 8:30 – 3:30, Monday – Friday
Pay: £12.90 per hour
Contract type: Temporary to Permanent
Sector: Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Location: Bridgend, Wales
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will be working closely with Key Stage 4 students who exhibit challenging behaviour, providing them with the support they need to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with class teachers, support staff, and parents to offer exceptional support to students.
Build strong working relationships with students in small groups or one-on-one settings to aid their development.
Adapt to challenging situations with a proactive and hard-working attitude.
Engage positively with students, supporting their academic and social growth.
Assist in lesson planning and adapting lessons to meet the specific needs of students.
Provide personal care as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
