As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide both 1:1 and general classroom support. When your assigned 1:1 student is not present, you'll assist the teacher with tasks around the classroom. - Aware of sensory sensitivities, such as aversion to bright lights or loud noises, and able to intervene when needed to help maintain a calm environment.
- Understands the value of consistency, helping young people adapt and build trust over time.
- Passionate about helping others and committed to enabling each young person to reach their full potential, regardless of challenges they may face.
- Additional specialized training related to ASD or SEN support is beneficial.
