Jumpstart Your Teaching Career – Salaried Graduate Teacher Training Programme in Salisbury!

Our Salaried Graduate Teacher Training Programme in Bournemouth is launching in September 2025 and offers a paid, hands-on route into teaching. This unique opportunity combines real classroom experience with professional training, setting you up for long-term success in education.
Programme Highlights
Phase 1: Cover Supervisor (Year 1)
Starting in September 2025, you’ll spend your first year working as a Cover Supervisor. This role allows you to:
- Gain Classroom Experience by stepping into various classrooms, managing lessons in the teacher’s absence, and building confidence in a real school environment.
- Develop Key Skills like effective classroom management, behavior strategies, and communication skills essential for any teaching role.
- Receive Mentorship from our team of experienced educators who will guide you through this foundational year, offering support, feedback, and insights into teaching.
Phase 2: Teacher Training (Year 2)
Following your Cover Supervisor year, you’ll begin our fully-funded Graduate Teacher Training Programme. This phase includes:
- Formal Teacher Training toward Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), while applying theory directly in the classroom.
- Subject Specialization where you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and skills in your preferred subject area.
- Full Support from mentors and coaches as you gradually take on greater responsibilities, preparing you for a successful teaching career.
Who We’re Looking For
Degree: A 2:2 or above in any subject.
Passion for Education: Graduates who are motivated, compassionate, and ready to make a difference in students' lives.
Location: Candidates based in or able to relocate to Bournemouth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
