Teacher of Science
Job description
A secondary school in Farnborough is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering a love for science and developing their understanding of key scientific principles.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 & KS4.
- Encourage students to develop practical investigative skills and a deeper understanding of scientific concepts.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to support students of all abilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Ensure a safe and stimulating laboratory environment, following health and safety guidelines.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including STEM initiatives and extra-curricular science activities.
Who Can Apply?
✔️ Qualified Science Teachers (QTS/QTLS preferred).
✔️ ECTs qualifying this year looking to begin their career in a supportive environment.
✔️ Unqualified teachers with relevant science teaching experience may also be considered.
✔️ Passionate about Science with strong classroom management skills.
