Science Teacher – Specialist SEMH School
Location: Edge of the New Forest (Near Southampton)
Salary: In line with Teacher Pay Scale
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (via Teaching Personnel)
Start Date: Ideally by Easter 2025

A small, specialist school on the edge of the beautiful New Forest is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team. The school provides a supportive and nurturing environment for pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them thrive both academically and personally.
The Role:
- Delivering engaging Science lessons to Key Stage 3 students (Key Stage 4 desirable).
- Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that enables all pupils to succeed.
- Working closely with a skilled team to support the individual needs of each student.
- Promoting the values of the school and fostering a positive, safe, and aspirational learning space.
About You:
- A qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Passionate about making science accessible, engaging, and inspiring for all learners.
- A strong understanding of SEMH needs and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Resilient, patient, and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
