Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Maths teacher on behalf of one of our partner secondary schools for a long-term, full-time placement until the end of the academic year 2025.
The school is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school with a sixth form, offering excellent standards of academic, vocational and sporting attainment. The school holds both staff and pupil wellbeing as a daily priority leading to success in a variety of areas.
Essentials
- Recognised Teaching Qualification [PGCE] (Newly Qualified Teachers encourages to apply)
- Degree in relevant field
- Registration with the EWC
- Enhanced DBS & registration with the Update Service (support can be provided for this)
- A range of classroom management strategies to engage classes of mixed abilities
Desirables
- Experience teaching WJEC GCSE Mathematics curriculum
- Experience of teaching to pupils with a range of ALN/ SEN
- A second subject to offer the school
Person Specification
- Patience, resilience and strong interpersonal skills
- Passion for Maths and Numeracy
- Desire to enhance the educational experience of pupils from a range of socio-economic backgrounds
- Remains calm under pressure and positive in challenging situations
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
