Salary: £166.32 per day

Role Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to students across various year groups. You will have the opportunity to teach and inspire students in a supportive and challenging environment, ensuring that each student reaches their full mathematical potential. You will be part of a forward-thinking department that encourages innovation in teaching and provides excellent opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the curriculum requirements for mathematics.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them achieve their goals.
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the mathematics department to share best practices and develop teaching resources.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings and communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities and support school events as needed.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Mathematics.
- Experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to inspiring and motivating students to achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
