About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Teacher of History to join their thriving Humanities department. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed educator to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically, develop analytical skills, and gain a deeper understanding of global and national history.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons.

Inspire and challenge students of all abilities, helping them develop a strong understanding of historical events, themes, and concepts.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback to support development.

Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities.

Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and academic achievement.
Requirements

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

Experience teaching History at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
