The Role
As a Teacher of English, you will:

Plan and deliver outstanding lessons in English, ensuring they meet the needs of every student.

Develop students' literacy and critical thinking skills by using a variety of engaging teaching methods.

Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement schemes of work that foster a passion for literature and language.

Set high standards of behaviour and academic achievement, creating a positive learning environment.

Provide constructive feedback on student work and track their progress.

Support the emotional and social development of students, including pastoral care and mentoring.

Contribute to extra-curricular activities that enhance the overall student experience.
The Ideal Candidate

A qualified teacher with QTS and a strong background in English.

Enthusiastic about teaching and inspiring students to love reading, writing, and learning.

Experienced in planning and delivering effective lessons for students at all levels.

Committed to setting high expectations for students' achievement and behaviour.

Able to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
