Teacher of English – High Achieving Secondary School in Sheffield

Position: Teacher of English
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

We are working with a high-achieving secondary school in Sheffield that is looking for a Teacher of English to join their dedicated and innovative faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering inspiring lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 and have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the English curriculum.

The Role:

  • Teach English Language and Literature to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Promote a love for literature and writing, helping students achieve their academic potential.
  • Take part in departmental meetings, sharing best practices and strategies for continuous improvement.
